    Cam Reweld and Grinding?

    Hi Guys camshafts there must be a reputable re-weld and regrind camshaft shop some of you use? I am thinking perhaps getting stock cams re-welded and reground is the way to save some money? Any Names of shops you've used with success? Thanx Mike

          Everybody - including the guys here in NZ - seems to use the good Eutectic hard facing rod nowadays. I've never had a problem with my locals but it's a skilled hand weld job so standards will vary. I've recently had a Honda cam from Web which was pretty good work.

                  If it is a rocker arm motor, you can regrind without welding
