On the gasketstogo.com order, everyone let me know if they want a custom gasketstogo mls gasket or not, & please let me know your preferred thickness once you get your base gasket cylinders and pistons installed and to a mockup torqued simulation to measure the piston depth in the hole.

    Hey guys,

I am sorry but I didn't get any Pistons shipped last week. I ended having to travel at the end of the week and was sick at the beginning of the week. I will do my best to ship them this week. I will send you a pm when I ship them to you.

    thanks,

    I missed the bus......

Talk about a day late, and a dollar short. Finally had some time and money last week to start working on my compression issues that started late last fall. Borrowed a decent telescopic videoscope to check out the piston and cylinder wall conditions. Thankfully, I found the problem with my compression it just so happened to be this:
    20160728_101239.jpg

It was this lovely crackex piston head in the #2 cylinder.

I was told by previous owner that it already had been bored. Much to my surprise upon removal of the damaged piston and having taken measurements for proper replacement of a thought to be bored out piston head, I find that it is the stock sized pistons for the 650. I found a used piston on ebay, and had it shipped in, along with new gaskets to renew the seal pressures. My friend and I did look for big bore kits that day, but it was late and the necessary parts to get it back up and running were already en route. So, I had today off to install the replacement parts, and I stumbled across this thread today. If for whatever reason a set of these pistons and the associated gasket become available, please keep me in mind.

    Hey guys,
I just wanted to let everyone know that the order is officially in. The bad news is they are only able to do 35 Pistons at one time. The first round of Pistons should be done and shipped byAugust 5. I will ship all of your guises Pistons to you as soon as I get them in and I will wait for the other five Pistons to complete my batch. That way you guys get your pistons as soon as possible.

Oh and all the Pistons are individually boxed

I can send a gasket to gasketstogo.com this week to get things started. We need to decide on quantity and thicknesses etc asap. Or decide if we want to wait to get our deck height measurements for gasket thickness calculations.
