I am looking to add highway pegs to my 83 GS850L, I understand the traditional way to go is engine guards and pegs clamped to those. But I do not want that look and would like to avoid that route if I can. Does anyone have any " in use" practical applications they can show me? send me? I know there are some bolts in the frame downtube and I'd like to think I could screw something in there? Any help, advice, pics, and or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Instead of crash bars, case savers with highway pegs can look semi-presentable.
