What you think a decent complete engine would be worth. Few around anymore. Is $1000. for a gs 1983 engine worth it? Stock no carbs or electronics or exhaust ? Thanx Mike

I've seen bare cases go for $500 so that should give you an idea on a near complete mill, especially the more desirable 83. -
On the flip side, I've seen complete bikes go for $1000. Just depends on the demand and the area you're in.

Darn, with so many daily riders it's hard to decide which one to jump on next.

Someone looking to build a drag bike might give you $1000 for it. Someone looking to put an engine into a rider might only go up to $400.

I got my 83 for 500.00. Always a gamble though. I saw that Ricky Gadson is selling 2 of his. 15,000.00 and 27,000.00 depending on which one you want, lol.1981 GS 1100e turbo, 83 motor, turbo pistons, new head, new turbo, backed and welded clutch basket, Dyna S ignition, cbr 929 front end, gsxr 750 rear end with 190 tire, all carbon fiber covered bodywork.Comment
