There are proponents of advancing the timing on certain bikes, the Bandit 1200 for example. Any benefit to this on the 1100e combined with Premium fuel? If so, how much? Or messing with the advance springs like we used to do with Chevys?

I'd be worried about the starter clutch at start up with a timing advance, but I'll let the folks in drag give you the expert advice.
If you've never experienced an 1100 kick back on starting it's a fearful noise.
