1150 crank in a 1100

Guys, can I put a 1150 crank in my 1100 what do I have to do to make it work, got a chance to get a 1150 crank, is it a better crank?, I think its a large end but not welded ,I'll do that.......Thanks

Hey Jimbo, the crank will fit, but;
- the 1150 rods have 20mm wristpins, where the 1100 has 18mm, so you'll have to use 1150 pistons.
-The left end does have the large taper end. The same end as an '83 1100.
-The 1150 cranks were factory welded too, but I am not sure if all the pins were welded?
-Check the number of teeth on the crank gear, I think the gear has a different number of teeth than the 1100.
I think that's all?
