Tangent: it annoys the crap out of me when people call the things that CAUSE the damage FOD.

"We spent half the time walking around the carrier deck picking up FOD." How do you pick up...damage? Unfortunately almost EVERYONE in the aerospace industry uses the term that way.

Nice.... wood is good.... although it looks like Oak. Oak is good for floors, but I hate it anywhere else in a house. It's hardness may be the ticket for cycle wheels though.
