My bike has been sitting for 10 years and I have done valve shims, air leaks, boots and o-rings, carb cleaning, syncing, thank you for all the help on all that. My second cylinder has 100 psi compression vs 120 on the others (#3 is also 100) and is at 350 degrees after running hard. Bike runs strong but the others are at around 150 degrees. What bike are you working on? Really need to know to help you trouble shoot. Since you're talking about running hard, possible issue on the main jet jet or needle? Too warm would suggest lean condition, causes being air leak, plugged jet, wrong jet size etc. You probably don't want to hear it, but the most likely cause is that that carb is not immaculately clean yet. At 350F that would be normal - the others are stone cold in comparison.
If it's a stock exhaust they are double walled so getting an accurate reading of exhaust temp can be tricky.Current:
