    1979 gs1000l pods

I WANT TO INSTALL POD FILTER LIKE MANY OTHERS SO i DON'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE AIRBOX. I AM RUNNING THE SOCK EXHAUST

WHAT JETS SHOULD I BE INSTALLING AS A GOOD STARTING POINT?

    THANK YOU

If you type in "pods" in the advanced search you will find enough information to make your head spin.

First off, STOP SHOUTING. Second, post this in the correct place - the Carbs and Exhaust forum. Search there on 'pod filters' and you will find reams of info, as AMK says. With the stock exhaust you aren't going to have to move up much from OEM jetting, maybe a bit richer on the pilots, one groove up on the needle and 2-3 steps on the mains. If you've never done this before you need to be methodical, make one change at a time, take notes on every combo you run/change made and stay calm and patient. You won't get it right the first or second time (and probably not the 3rd or 4th, either), I guarantee.
