    Gs 1100 pistons in a 83 gs 750

Has anyone put 1100 pistons in a 83~85 750? I think they both have 18mm pins. I know there will be some work involved, but I don't know if it's even possible. I hope someone can lead me in the right direction. Thanks, Andy

I've seen it done in the opposite direction - one 750 piston used in an 1100 to get under the capacity limit for speedway sidecars....

      I thought I heard of someone making a 900+cc motor out of a 750

Usually a 2V engine. The roller cranks are better for making things bigger than the early plain bearing cranks.

Talk to Chuck78, as I recall he did the 900cc out of a GS750. However, it was the 77-79, 8 valve, 750cc models not the 83+. As GregT said, the roller cranks were the ticket.
