Gs1100 swap
Hello, I have a 1981 gs750e that just this past Monday gave up the ghost. I did some digging and it appears the crankshaft is sheared in half. With that being said, how difficult is it to swap q tscc gs1100 into my existing frame? What should I look for in purchasing one? Can i swap my gs750 head onto the gs1100 block? Any info would be appreciated. ThanksTags: None -

Why would you want to bolt on a 750 head? Find another 750 motor or start to find out what issues come up with doing the 7/11 swapCurrent Rides: 82 GS1100E, 00 Triumph 955 Speed Triple:twistedevil:, 03 Kawasaki ZRX1200, 01 Honda GL1800, '15 Kawasaki 1000 Versys

Something tells me that a stock 1100 <might> out-perform a 750 with Web cams.

I'd be surprised if the bore center spacing on the two engines is the same, which would be necessary if that's going to work.'20 Ducati Multistrada 1260S, '93 Ducati 750SS, '01 SV650S, '07 DL650, '01 DR-Z400S, '80 GS1000S, '85 RZ350Comment
