I think you need to change the cylinder studs, I'm not positive though. Private message RAPID RAY, he'll tell you exactly what you need to do. He's a Top Notch Drag Bike Engine Builder. 👍

You'll need 1150 studs and valve cover (and gasket). You'll also lose your mechanical tachometer drive.

Unless he's going the other way i.e. putting the 1100 head on the 1150 cases. The great thing about going in this direction is you can always "upgrade" back to an 1150 head in the future.

Youre right, I hadn't considered which way he was going with the swap. Most go to the 1150 head for a little boost in performance.
