The cover is a US 1983 GS1100ESD part number only for like 500 bikes.
This doesn't look like it but then again I have never seen one of these. The head I had with one was a small cover.
Maybe this is a new part number not available at the time of production.

I don’t know why they turned out so small, they’re full resolution on my computer. I’ll try to repost later, but they’re out of the factory service manual too. Mostly it shows that the only real difference in the cams was a small bump in lift... and different timing due to different cam sprockets.-1980 GS1100 LT

Could be, I got the one shown when I blanked off the tach drive last year.
