    79 750e motor build

I am looking into doing a built 79 gs750e motor with some go fast parts. Its a spare motor and will be a build with my son. Would like to keep the 750 head. Build would have to be reasonably streetable as we don't have a local track.
I'm looking primarily at piston, cams and valve springs/retainers with some port and polishing.
Looking for any insight as we are just starting the planning with tear down once my 67 yr1 is running.
Any input on realistic numbers we could see and what to look for or watch out for?

Do a search for 844 kit and a ton of info will show up.
A lot of it provided by Chuck78.

An expensive project. Installing a 1000 engine, which is lighter, is another option.
