    78 GS850G fork swap

I'm putting 02 GSXR 600 forks on my 78 GS 850G I need to find a upper bearing for Gsxr steam everything else works. The Gsxr stem is larger in diameter so the GS bearing will not slid over it. Does anybody have a size on that bearing or any other ideas?

Have a look over at dotheton.com for stem bearing size charts and what they'll fit. They do a lot of mixing and matching over there.

What are you doing at the rear? I would have thought the only way to get a wide enough wheel for a radial would be to use a cruiser spoked hub relaced to a wider rim... or a GSX1100 wheel maybe
