    Wes Cooley's bike at Le Mans Classic Days meeting

    Last week end I went to a "Classic Days" meeting in Le Mans France.
    The meeting took place at the famous Le Mans track and while mainly a car event there were some nice bikes on display and on track.
    Among a vast collection of racing bikes, there was a GS 1000 based Suzuki previously raced by Wes Cooley.
    He apparently saw the bike and confirmed it was original?

            That's the bike I based the look of mine on.
            1979 GS1000S,
