        I have tried the Maxi-X pipe years ago on a GS1100L model 7" slick and a bar. It provided more low end power and increased the 60' times but would not let the motor rev out through mid range and top end. Tried some jetting with no results.Went back to the pits and changed it to a V&H megaphone.The bike ran like it did previously after re-jetting. 9.98 Sold it after that.Probably a good pipe red light to red light.
