    Handlebars

I recently had a spill on my 79 GS1000 S which has resulted in a set of bent bars. As the master cylinder is inside the fairing I'm thinking the bars are of a certain size to allow for this hence why the bars in the spares catalogue just show them made for the S. Has anyone had to replace their bars with an aftermarket set and did the master cylinder clear the fairing? Cheers Mac.

The ever popular "Superbike" bend handlebars are a good option on the 1000S. Maybe you can scare up one of the K&N brand samples? Those might be better than Emgo or Bikemaster?
