Hooray indeed! I can't wait to see it in person!

First thing I'll be doing when getting it back will be snapping off some pic's for all to see.

I also wanna get the tank and everything back on so I can see how she'll look all together.

Then I can start getting organised to fire her back up again and see if the ignition is fixed or not...

I swear I've spent half an hour to an hour on and off today just standing in the garage looking at it... sweeeeeet... love it! It couldn't have come out closer to what I wanted... absolutely spot on! Called Tranzac this avo to let him know how good it is too, I'm a happy man this evening!

Sorry for the delay on the pic's... it actually got delivered later on today due to some towing issues. It's a father/son outfit doing the towing and the son's ute carked it on the way to Toowoomba this morning and the son is the one who took it to Tranzac for me initially. Apparently the father told the son not to get a modern 5L V8 in the WB ute and to go old tried and true technology, but he didn't listen and chewed out his distributer shaft... the father's Chevvy 350 is going very strongly in his with no dramas... I must say they're both nice utes!

                      But I digress...

That ceramic coating will darken a bit once it's up and running, but it's a real nice finish, and there's no special care aside from not using abrasives on it, just suds and turtle wax type polish or similar.

He very kindly put allen head bolts everywhere too which matches up nicely with the allen head bolts from Z1 which is great. The only thing I'll think about doing is painting the rear mounting bracket.

I also had a close look at the front mudguard clearance tonight, and no way is the stock guard going in there without whacking the pipes, so definitely need to find an alternative and get a fork brace. No urgent rush on that at the moment.

Now it's time to start putting it back together so I can see if the ignition is fixed...

Cheers Don, I gotta say I'm absolutely stoked! I had no idea I could end up with such a work of art attached to my bike... happy as a pig in the proverbial for sure! If I can get the rest of it done to the same quality, I'll be proud as Punch

I should be back on the ignition testing in the next couple of weeks if all goes to plan and I'll make sure updates are provided

Looks great Pete! Is the heat guard far enough forward? I would be standing around looking at it too lol

Cheers Josh! I noticed the heat shield doesn't go as far forward as I thought it should, but that's not a huge drama for me at the moment. I'm still contemplating making up a fancy one down the track. Right now I just wanna hear it run

My main concern with the shield was if my wife gets on the back I don't want her leg to burn, and it will stop that for sure.
