Yeah it's a great colour that way.Since my wife's bike will be the same colour, beginners need every advantage they can get.The cheque I'm expecting didn't come today,no painting for me tomorrow

It looks darker and organgyer than the pic.Seems like a tough colour for cameras to pick up the nuances of.My link pics look like that to.In real life the yellows have a definite orange flavor to them.Graeat a colour I can't get a real good pic of

It should look good when it's done.

If all pics look that way, it might be your monitor.. my old POS 15" tube screwed with everything I had pictures of, but the new 19" flatscreen is more true to life... Just sayin.... It sure looks good to me!

Screen on the camera looks the same.Bought my computer 2 and a bit years ago and it has a 19 inch flat screen.Like I said every other yellow with some orange tones seems to photograph without them. The Ford Focus comes in a similar colour,a Google search shows them more yellow.Weird but....

I think of it as my "I dare you to turn left in front of me and tell me you didn't see me" colour.

Got to my fiends booth today

Forgot my gun Used one of they had,a HVLP gun.It gave me fits.Something was making the paint glob and plugging it up.Got it on but it needs to be sanded smooth before I clear

                      Wish I brought my gun

She's going to be righteous when she's done. Crap thing about not having your gun but you're making headway.

They look great! Question. Will the windscreen and fairing grills be black or something?

Bugger about the gun, but it still looks good from those photos.

I can't believe I'm saying this about yellow, but it does look real good...

Hopefully a good sand will iron out your lumps and bumps and let you get a good clear on to finish it up and get a great look.

Gills will be black, the screen will stay clear. It took to much work to get it that way http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum...d.php?t=162364

Yeah I was pretty hacked at forgetting it,wanted to deflower a virginThe colour's a little "outside the box" but that's how I roll (sometimes). Was thinking about it.I'm going to do a coat of base then do the clear.seems like a plan to me

My angel of a wife wife brought them home today

Most of it smoothed out better than I thought it wouldBut I have to do a stand for the tail.No way to get it really good without one.BTW it was not a gun problem, didn't strain the paintNow I know why my dad was a little fanatical about that.
