i've made a decision..
I'm going to pull the bike apart again.
Mostly.

I'm not 100% happy with a few bits & pieces so I.'m going to do them again.

I'm usually a sort of that-will-do person but since the bike is still off the road until probably March, I might as well put more time in on it.

The tank will be stripped and repainted for a start. I might even pull some engine covers and polish them up.

I'll see what the weekend brings. I promise more photos.
Maybe even some out in the sun.

Good luck with the sun . I thought you blokes were getting a bit of a drink as well as us and the cockroaches . Seems like 1/2 this wide brown land of ours is under water at the moment .

Yeah I see news articles about 1 in 200 year floods for Victoria... what's going on? You gonna get wet Leigh or will you be right?

The flooding is in the West. Horsham is in for some rough times. It's been pouring down here on and off. The weekend looks good though.

The Island Classic is on this weekend. I won't be able to make it so I might as well sit in the shed and sook.

We had our first really sunny day for ages yesterday but the water everywhere is making it ridiculously humid at the moment, so hopefully that calms down a bit soon.

Don't worry, I can't make the island classic either, so we can both have a good sook

Well now I feel bad leaving you two to sook alone.
Through the generosity of mates I will be at the Island for the weekend.
I'll be riding for the first time since April last year.
A K5 750 has been forced upon me. I know this bike, we have punted around the circuit together.
There will be an 1100 Kat and an RD350 to play with too.
I will bring back photos..

Phillis will have the new Kat out to play. Ross, he of the 1100, knows him well. I should be able to get some nice close up shots.

I will head out for a run on Saturday and get some road photos for the Flatlanders on here too.

Had one of "those storms" come through here very quickly this avo and just got power back, so nothing to do since getting home from work than drink beer... I'm still somewhat sober.

Now I'm disappointed, Pete.. Sort of.
I have my kit packed for the weekend already. That's a little eager I think.
They're saying mid 30's for Sunday.
I must say, I'm a little apprehensive about the ride. It's the first one since the prang but I figure the shoulder will stand up to a little punishment now.
