carb not like petrol

can anyone tell me why my gsx550 is throwing out petrol of the two jets at the back of the carb near the airbox and also will any other carbs fit this model thanks

Sounds like the float level is set too high / the float is sticking or the float valve is worn out. Those carbs were unique to that bike, being the dual throat jobbies so there's nothing out there to go hunting for (as far as I know).
