Nice work Paul! Feels good to have a plan and get it done don't it?

Can't help with your mystery hole though...

Actually, looked at the fiche and looks like a bolt goes in there:

Number 11, one either side, looks like they're for mounting the cylinder head to the cylinders...

Yeah I found that out after I posted. Started thinking what a dummy, look at the fiche.... I was having a moment I guess. I have been around long enough I knew where to look those kind of things up. OH well. Took the dogs for a walk going to eat some breakfast and move on to getting everything ready to take over to Adam's place. I will post some pictures later.

That's ok, you're allowed a senior moment or two here and there

Fast approaching 39 here and they're becoming a little too common for my liking...

Okay so went over to adams and we cleaned up the footpegs and installed them and the brake pedal. Then realized that I was missing parts to get the carbs together and mounted. So that would have to wait here are the footpegs installed.

So I go home get find all the parts I am missing. Saturday night and Sunday become all about Pnut. (Yes she has me wrapped around her little finger, just ask her mom) This morning I bring everything up and finish getting it all put together. That is when I notice something

Which one is not like the other one

Now I do have all the cross connections installed but three out of 4 have the vent ports coming out. When I tried to compare them to the other rack of carbs I have, those were completely different also. So I am completely confused. Some Help would be appreciated.

Here is a close up of the carb in question and of between two of the other ones.

                Help!!!!

                Paul

And I am turning 40 on the 29 and senior moments seem to be a way of life. Makes me really nervous to know how I will be at 70.

Can't help with your carbs Paul but good work on the footpegs (progress is always good right?).

I can identify with the senior moments... will only be 39 this year though...

Your third carb should be the first.

Well if you followed my saga on Monday in the Carb section, the final synopsus was I don't have a #3 Carb installed. I have (2) #2 carbs in the #1 and #2 Positions and a #1 carb in the Three position. At least the #4 carb is right.

Have the #3 carb from the other rack soaking in Pinesol right now. Hopefullly I will get to it tomorrow. Tonight I have fighter practice and I think I need to blow off a little steam. Time to suit up and whack people with sticks.

Well considering I have only been in armor three times in the last month due to my work schedule I did not do too bad. Think I got whacked more than I did any whacking last night. I had a great time blew off some steam and I am ready to get back at some things. This morning I installed a new Graphics card in the Computer, a GTX550 Ti, so now my wife can play Star Wars The Old Republic. I took the #3 Carb body out of the pinesol. It cleaned up nicely. Primed and painted and currently sitting in the oven so that I can work with it tonight and get the carbs put back together, in the right order, with all the pieces. I am going to try and get everything short of the rear sprocke on the back tire today so that it can go back on the bike this weekend. Around 5pm going to give my contact for PC a call and see if I can get the Handle bars in. If not think I am going to try and see if I can sneak into the Paint booth tonight.

Also gots some goodies in the mail today. Recieved my fuse box and R/R leads from Eastern Beaver. YaY.

Progress is progress even after a set back.

                            Paul

That's the only way forwards right?

You're gonna be done in no time at this rate
