My First Bike (finally done right)

    Hello,

I purchsed this bike for 500.00 my sophmore college summer (2005). This was my first bike, and I have finally graduated college (2008) and got a job. Now I put the money into her she deserves (2011).

Please see the attached pics of this wonderful bike, from the first month of ownership till it's last ride in Austin at Rot Rally. All her friends are Harleys and she has a kawsaki sister but she is still my main ride of choice.

This is a pic of how my bike looked when I first got it, minus the shield and hard bags. This pic was the closest I could find to the original, it was literally in this good of shape.

Issues:It weaped oil out of head and didn't run well (changed plugs) wheeling monster.

Looks like you figured out the "multiple pictures" thing.

          Lookin' good.

Not nearly as comfortable or quiet, but it looks good.

I hope to get it done by the end of the month, got the rest of the part back from the machine shop and polished up the sprocket cover. All thats left is the wheels and bearings.

Any Ideas on how to fix a mess up I did way back when? I cut the seat hinges for the cafe look now I need to remount. any nody ever do this?

You have a nice transformation going on there. I really like the Black paint and the seat is art.
