best and worse of all worlds

i would like to start a good discussion about what motorcycle had the best of this, or that. i am not wanted to start an arguement. i am trying to see if i could make a bike w/ the best of everything. also the downfalls of certain bikes. examples: gs1100 is a really good enginge, but suzuki is known for bad electronics. yamaha's are great bike but the YICS heads are very weird and odd head design. of course need examples of brakes tanks etc. anything and everything.

They meet the same noise standards as anything else. Owners spend additional time and money making them loud.

I have come to realize, alot of the suzuki's such as the gs's have a great deal of interchangeable parts and are usually very easy to work on. When it comes to a honda or yamaha, they seem to be a bit trickier to work on, especially the yamaha's. They seem to make every model different and part specific. This only counts for stuff that I have worked on. Everyone else has their own opinion.

Depends if you're talking modern or past.

No time goes into making a harley loud, its a straight pipe.

How about you approach this differently and tell us what you expect out of this bike yyou want to build, then we can give the best characteristics to achieve it. To go all out making this luxury, sport tuned hybrid bike will end up compromising much more than you hope to gain by doing this. I took this route building a quad for four stroke wars which is part yama, kawai suzi and honda.

The biggest problem GS bikes have is the charging system and we have that worked out.
1981 GS650G , all the bike you need
1980 GS1000G Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely
