    rear wheel stand.... ??????

hi guys,,, i,ve got a 1980 gs1000e.... and i,m weak in the chest,, due to health,,,,i luv riding my gs1000e 1980 ,,but i,d like too put it up on the centre stand ,,with ease,,, i wanted to know if those rear wheel stands with the small wheels on them would fit my gs1000e... and are they easy to use if my bike is on the side stand and i try to put it up with the rear wheel stand ,,,or will it all fall down in a horrible mess.. your help would be much appreciated regards david from kaniva .....

You'll still need to hold the bike upright while putting it on the rear stand. But you can balance the bike with one hand, from the back. Align the stand with the other hand. Once you get it roughly positioned, lever up the rear & Bob's your uncle.

Most of the effort of putting a 1000 on its center stands is with the feet pushing down on the stand. Stuff all with lifting. try it
