I ended up replacing the petcock, and that did stop fuel from entering the vacuum line. I've been consistently chasing down carb problems for the last few weeks.



I realized there was air leaking through the carb side of the boots, so I replaced the clamps.

I borrowed a morgan carbtune and vacuum synced the carbs. The bike runs well as long as I set the idle a little high, like 1500 rpm. I'm not satisfied, but it's better than it was.
