Cylinder head cover has been ordered. Should see it next week i reckon, doubt it will be tomorrow.

The weather here has been absolutely crap so havent really been able to work on the bike at all, cant put it in the garage because my project car is in there and it gets right of way lol.

Lol, my car just isnt a car though, Its a Kingswood!! I've had it for about 8 years, been in the family since 1979, its a bare shell at the moment.

Shes my baby alot of sentimental value. Once its back together there will be heaps of room.

Mate why didn't you say so???!!! You shouldn't say "car", you should say "Kingswood"...

In that case it's perfectly acceptable

I wanted my first car to be my dad's old HK but he went and sold it before I got my license dammit...

The bike got towed to and from Tranzac by WB utes, one with a modern 5L V8 that broke down today, one with a Chevvy 350 in it... man both of those things were sweet as!

Yeah i love my Kingswoods, i've had Toranas as well best was my V8 hatchback. I'm restoring the Kingswood to Original.

Hey what paint did you use on your frame?

I only like old Holdens, anything more modern than about late '70's you can keep, Commodores onwards just suck. I like some of the old Fords too... but I don't know the Ford models so no idea what they actually are

Stock Kingswood hey? That should be nice when you're done! A guy at work has a reasonably well done EH wagon, nice looking machine...

My frame, swingarm, wheels, fork lowers, engine brackets, side and centre stand and headlight ears were all done with POR 15 Blackcote. I'll be doing the tail light bracket and possible the exhaust mounting bracket with the same stuff as I've still got some left over. I brushed it on too rather than spraying as it's self levelling paint.

Mate no need to PM, $64.00 for 475mL which should be way more than you need to paint the frame and swingarm.

You can buy it online or there are a bunch of resellers in NSW as well.

Cylinder Head cover showed up today, going to put the engine back in the frame tomorrow without repainting it as i have to get it running, bit of a bummer not to repaint it while its out but i need wheels.
