its very common for use in cables in the engine bay in cars, so you could probabbly find it in some autoshops.Comment

Renobruce has been selling kits to do this for years....
I would recommend some kind of heat resistant cloth loom tube or proper Loom tape for the wires.....
The ghetto way is to get some rubber tube (water hose, fuel hose) & run the wiring inside that.1980 GS1000G - Sold

The split wire loom that drivera84 shows is used in automotive applications. Comes in various colors and sizes. Jegs, Summit Racing, Speedway Motors all have it listed on their websights..For really high temp applications we use glass cloth electrical tape at work (heater band wiring). either 3M or Scotch brand. Only issue is it is WHITE.
