    3 year project 80 GS1100 with gsxr/bandit upgrades

    Finally, 3 years to get to where I can ride it & ride it I will. It handles great, tons of power, jetting is right on. Now for paint, polish & finalizing.
    Thanks to everyone here for their help.

    most of my costs were:
    88 gsxr front end $35.00 + $25.00 shipping
    Gsxr front wheel $20.00 + shipping
    Bandit 400 gauges $47.00 + 25.00 shipping
    Risers + handlebars $35.00 + shipping
    gsxr rear sets $40.00 + shipping
    Bandit swingarm $40.00 + shipping
    Wave rotor $35.00 shipped
    Bandit rear wheel $50.00 shipped
    V + H muffler $60.00 + shipping
    Radial tires front & back $550.00

    All brackets, welding, steering stops, etc $400.00

        Most parts came from Ebay & the GSR. Sometimes, I would find myself as the only bidder. I think I lucked out a lot of the time. Of course, being patient helped. If it got too expensive I passed on the part.

          Looks like Kal-Gard coating on the engine.
          What paint did you use on the engine, Nasty?

            I think it was either Dupli Colour or VHT engine paint. The colour is "cast iron". So far, it has help up perfectly.
