I'm sure I will recognize your bike if I see you cruising Whyte ave or hanging out at the Tims there.

That is if my bike is finished by this summer.

That is looking very pretty. Actually pretty is not really the right word. It is pretty but it is tough looking. Like a hot girl that knows how to kick your ass.

gsxr rear sets mocked up. Just need to make a plate to bolt up the top mount.

This is really gonna be one sweet bike when it's done. I really like the look right now. Very minimalist like an old bike but with modern components. Cool.

Never been crazy about the big gap between seat and rear tire that usually goes along with this style but the way you put the lines together on this bike really works. That thing is going to look mean down right kick you in the teeth with combat boots mean.

LMAO, you should check out some of the rugby chicks in Calgary and Edmonton. A perfect description for the bike though. What kind of color scheme? For my 2 cents(2 cents more than its worth) just polished metal with a clear coat would be kickass.

Yeah I've had a lot of people say go the bare metal route but I just don't want to go to all the work to metal finish the tank and smooth out the emblem mounting spots. So my plan is pearl white. same as the wheels. with gold leafing and red and gray pinstriping. here is a photoshop of it white. Not really talented enough with the computer to add in the pinstriping and stuff though. so ya'll will just have to wait till its done.

Made a couple mounting plates today and also got the rear brake system bolted up. Still need some tweaking on the shifter linkage but the idea is there and it works. I think it could be a little smoother though. Once I get the length figured out I'll make a new linkage without pieces welded together.

Nice fab work and white is cool. Not too many around so it's good to be different. One thing I noticed is the rear shock is really hung low like its even below the frame. Kinda odd looking. They are normally much higher. Maybe even lower the whole bike two or three inches would give it a more interesting stance.

Regardless, you have some great skills and im looking forward to seeing the final product.

yeah the shock sits pretty low. Gonna ride it, play around with height a bit, see how it goes. Its just the way it fit in there the easiest and I don't think it'll be a problem. Time will tell.

Yep, that's some fine fab & design work. Look forward to the end result but the process is cool too.
Nice to have a heated shop

Yeah the shop is nice to have access to. Nothing getting done for this month now. School and full time work take up most of my day. But only a couple more weeks to go and I can get back to my regular schedule.
