Riding to and through Germany would definitely be a blast. All the photos I've seen show awesome scenery and those little towns and things as well... would be great riding.

[QUOTE=reddragon;1550804]I'd follow WSB if I could get it on TV but we gotta pay for the privilege over here, at least Moto GP is still free-to-air for the moment...Originally posted by pete View Post

I love the rizla colors, they look loud and fast! it is VERY loud and spits the odd flame from the exhaust when you throttle off it is VERY loud and spits the odd flame from the exhaust when you throttle off

The 550 badges were an after thought, intended it to be a bit anonymous but the panels I bought came with the badges and I thought they looked good against the blue, as for height restrictions I'm only 5'5" and it fits me spot onOriginally posted by gearhead13 View PostPretty sweet bike!
I love the mix of old and new. The GS550 tags are cool too
At 6'2" I dont think I could fit on it though she looks like fun.

Home made mate, got some 25mm X 2mm aluminium strip and formed it round an old link pipe I had which happened to be same size as forks, then two triangles of 6mm alu plate drilled to suit and then mirror polished only cost a few quid to doOriginally posted by DrunkenChekhov View PostWhat kinda headlight brackets are those? Loving the bike. Great mix of old and new.

Took it for its 1st ride on Friday to the MOT , its surprisingly comfortable and pulls really well , better than my Bandit 600 used to, especially from 60 onwards, anyway it failed on the numberplate position not being near vertical , so yesterday I carried out the brilliant piece of engineering shown in the photo and it passed, needless to say its back where I want it now anyway it failed on the numberplate position not being near vertical , so yesterday I carried out the brilliant piece of engineering shown in the photo and it passed, needless to say its back where I want it now

What do you mean your suprised they passed it with duct tape.... man if its good enough for NASCAR its good enough for the MOT.... You do realize that duct tape is like the "Force".. It has a dark side and a light side while binding the universe together.

Nice job on the bike. Super Cool. Now go find some twisties and come back and tell us how she felt.
