I live in the country, so there were plenty of twisties on the 30 mile round trip to the MOT and she felt great, that USD front end certaintly soaks up the bumps , very pleasedOriginally posted by Redneck View PostWhat do you mean your suprised they passed it with duct tape.... man if its good enough for NASCAR its good enough for the MOT.... You do realize that duct tape is like the "Force".. It has a dark side and a light side while binding the universe together.

Nice job on the bike. Super Cool. Now go find some twisties and come back and tell us how she felt.

Yeah I've been photo whoring and posted on all the forums I'm on what with the MOT pass, gave me a tremendous sense of achievement I've been into bikes since I was about 7 or 8 but this is the 1st one I've built myself

Took her out for a 100mile blast over the weekend so she's definately ridden and not hiddden, pretty bloody quick for a 600, faster than my bandit 6 used to be, and handles and stops great, just had the push part of the throttle jump out of its clamp on the carbs , you could still open it up but had to manually shut her down, didn't spring back, but ten minutes in the workshop sorted that .was an absolute blast to ride and sounds awesome when you open her up or shut her down into a bend with the overrun, very pleased all round

Thanks, its bloody great fun to ride too, very "chuckable" with decent suspension and a relatively short wheelbase

Just about 730 miles on her so far which is pretty good considering the British summer this year and the fact that I have another bike on the road too, , its getting its own little fan club down at Poole Quay, loads of people have asked to take pics , one very lovely Italian girl had hers taken next to it , its getting its own little fan club down at Poole Quay, loads of people have asked to take pics , one very lovely Italian girl had hers taken next to it . .
I like to stand a little away from it and hear what peoples opinions are , the most common are " OMG look where his number plate is " lol and , "He cant seriously ride it with just that padding on the seat " which is when I step forward and say "I do"
One lad was showing this cool bike he'd seen at the Quay to my son on his FB page not knowing that it was mine which was quite funny
All in all good fun bike and no probs so far , only downside is that with all the polished parts it dont come out in the rain , I'm not a "fair weather biker" just dont ride this one unless its dry which at the mo is very rare
