

I got my new chain on.. the old one had a stiff link and would pop when I rode :O

New, stainless front line... You can see the bondo on the front fender, and the fact that I trimmed it up a little ;P

Rear line, with a one way valve that lets me bleed my brakes by myself. Just hook up and go!



LOTS of bondo and fillable primer.... :P You think you get all the holes and dents filled in, and then you give it a nice coat of clear
I have painted it, no pics yet. Its dark blue metal flake with the cap lid painted satin black.I have now decide not to cafe, and instead shoot for this: ( :P )

I know it still has a lot of rough spots, but my plan is to ride it and get it performance wise where i want it before I paint it. THe #4cylinder smokes, I think it is a valve seal and the #1 cylinder has a tapping sound in the exhaust. I used an engine stethescope and did not hear anything in the crankcase, the cylinder, or the valve cover- just in the exhaust pipe. need ot tune the carbs, get a new tach and hook up the turn signals and it will at least be road ready! Anyone have any ideas about the tapping?
