A little up date...I got the frame welded for my fairing and got it put back together over the weekend.I do have some carb issues to work out as I'm getting some stumbling at 5000-6000rpm. I hope I have located an airbox as I think it will be easier to get it running properly than trying to do it with the pods. And man does that Yohi pipe sound awesome!! Went for a little ride after I gave her a bath.

Bike looks good, how are yoru carbs set up for that Yoshi?
I cant quite tell, but is that the Race Yoshi that comes right under the belly with over sized down tubes?

You should probably be running about 140 Mikuni mains with DJ Kit needles at 3 grooves.

Thanks, the pipe I don't think is a race yoshi and the mains I'm using are 138s. Not sure where the needles are at as I had a bike mechanic buddy do the carbs. I will find out soon enough though. I am running pods because the airbox was missing. I hopefully will have a box coming soon so I can tune it properly.

I brought it around to show the PO of the bike today. He was happy/sad to see it. Just in time to as he is moving to Alberta on Saturday. He said he was "glad to know it was back on the road and in good hands". He was glad I stopped around because he lost my contact info and he wanted to give me the fork seals that he found. Good thing too as I was about to order new ones. ;D

Hey all Trevor and I went at the bike for a bit today and had a dilemma. During the vacuum synch I couldn't get any vacuum on #3, actually all four cylinders were not registering much vacuum on the carbtune. I did a bench synch and had things relatively close, she'd start right up and idled not too bad really. It didn't seem to matter how much I adjusted the carbs I couldn't get much vacuum to register and none on #3. My first thought is there is something not right under the valve cover. The PO put new rings and seals on the bike but never had it running since that work, not right anyways so I'm figuring there could easily be something not right under there, or at least it needs a valve adjustment. I can't think of another reason why the vacuum wouldn't register properly, anyone else have some ideas?
