    just a thought...gsxr 600 swap into 81 gs 850

    my brother has a 600 out of a 06? or 07 gixxer 600...has all the wiring ecm etc....

    is it possible to swap it to my 81 850? as in will it be to tall or anything...

    and would i use the 750 swing arm?

    you will run into issues with the angle of the throttle bodies. They will aim towards your tank. Not a huge issue if you can do some fabrication, but it will be a interesting problem. Take a pic of the motor and lay it over a pic of your bike in photo shop and you will see the interference.

      The shaft drive frame is different - doubtful you can swap in the chain drive easily
