    1982 gs650glz speedo

    Alright so the PO that had the bike broke the speedometer by taking it to fast. And an oem costs a lot from what I have found. How would I go about finding an aftermarket that fits the cable?

    Speedos don't break from going too fast.

    I think I have the one you need, I'll have to make sure its an '82.

      I guess he didn't actually know and just made a reason up. Would you consider selling it? I can post a picture of my gauge at 9am

        The Parts Wanted forum is the place to request parts. Ebay is typically well stocked as well. Buying from a GSR member like Tom is always preferable though, for obvious reasons.

        Tons of threads in the archives on different aftermarket gauge clusters. No personal experience though.
