    Help needed

    Need to know if front brake disc's off a Suzuki GSX550 E or EF or EFG will fit a 78 gs1000e using standard 1000 callipers ???????

      They'll bolt on, yes,the offset is possibly a tad less than the thou though.
      You may have to make up a couple of thin shims.

      To check specs for discs, go to Metalgear website as they list a huge range of discs - with the specs too.

        off set the same just 15mm smaller diameter
        Got Adrian's old ones off his S but they were both the same side and just under the wear limit
        I'll keep looking

          Are you mixing the sizes from the single disc and the dual disc brakes?

          The single disc ones are bigger in diameter. I have newer brakes here, a stack of them, and older brakes, both from dual and single brake bikes. All of the singles discs are the same bigger diameter, all of the dual discs are the same smaller diameter.

          Can go measure if you need it.



          Not sure about the later brakes like on the 700E, might be completely different.
