Someone a few towns over just offered me an airbox, air-filter box, gas tank, and some other odds and ends. Before I drive all the way out there, can anyone help me figure out if the parts will fit (I won't be able to take my bike with me)

The VIN on the bike he has is GS1000508611.

      Thank you for the help!

Thank you all for the help.

A GS1000 is really too big for me, I'm learning to ride, this will be my first bike, so not exactly a good starter.

This weekend someone offered to straight-up trade me for a 78 GS550, in running condition.

So, I traded my 78 GS1000 E that needed an airbox, clutch basket fix, turn signal, turn signal switch, new tires, new seat cover, new/cleaned tank, mirrors, covers, and more for a 78 GS550 that needs nothing (both had titles).

I started another thread with info/questions about that bike.

Thank you for all of your help so far!
