    A new acquisition

After owning this for about a month now, I figured I might as well post it up-

It runs fine, but things need to be fixed/cleaned up/adjusted.

The cam chains are loose, I had to replace a broken tachometer drive cam cap, the clutch fingers are notched and the basket has the slop that they all get, it charges but the lights flicker every three seconds, etc. Completely stock except for the chromed covers which I am looking to replace. I am going to pull the sump to see what kind of gook is in there. It's got 60000 miles.

    That is a looker!

Makes the current CB1100 look downright ugly.

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

Nice looking example and the faster red model, too.
You have probably already discovered it but www.cb1100f.net is an excellent site for the CB-F series.

Absolutely, they have been very helpful. Parts for these things are hard to come by.

How much/little did you have to give for it?
