      Congrats Markus!
My first bike was an '82 GS650L and I had more fun on that bike than I could ever have imagined. I was up in Vermont at the time, and it wasn't all that long ago.

You have found the right place - there are lots of good people here and everything you will ever need to know about Suzuki motorcycles.

      Welcome to the forum.

If you have road trips in your near future, I assume you've already gone through and caught up the bike on all of its required maintenance? If not, see BassCliff's mega-welcome in my link below.

          Welcome!

I was just about to ask if you wanted to meet up for a ride this summer.

Looks a lot better without those crash bars. Welcome to the brotherhood!

              Welcome!
I've been reading through that quite a bit over the winter actually. Haha. Still have some minor bugs to work out before it will be ready, just needs a new chain, couple misc mounting bolts for hardware, seat, etc. and presumably my float needle seats need to be cleaned out. Other than that it runs really well! I really love the bike and enjoy riding it within a mile of my house, but will definitely enjoy it a lot more when I can leave the road atleast, haha. my work so far has mostly been cosmetically or just dissembled and reassembled because I get so sick of staring at it!
