Going to finally show my bike, before and some after shots

So, here we are. Admittedly I was a little apprehensive to do this. Whenever you put a something out publically you are agreeing to have what you put out scrutinized. I find this is agreeable and it should be done this way; no one should think that they can put up an egregious or erroneous statement and not have their statement examined.

I have made this statement for this regard; in the past I have been disheartened at some of the disparaging opinions of some regarding the direction an individual goes with their bike. Now I find it egregious myself when one just gets butchered but I do take into consideration that at minimum the bike is given a new life and purpose.

And that is what I have done here. I have a love for older British bikes. I am going to post these pictures and hope you will appreciate that Irescued it and gave it a new life. It sat for years under a tarp. I had to fix a lot of rust and the reason being I wanted to use every part that came on the bike that came on it from the factory, I did not want to buy new ones and throw these away. Yes, that is the factory rear fender that I modded. It was achallenge but I come from that ole school of not taking the easy way and doing bolt ons. I am not finished, I still have some odds and ends to go.

I love the 450T. It's a stylish little bike, that makes a nice platform for personalization.The number plate on the fender is a good touch.

If constructive criticism is accepted, you may think about redrilling and trimming of the excess material on the rear seat mounts to lower it over the frame a little.

What did you paint it with? I asked about if you used Plasti-dip? We have an '06 R6 that was done in a pearl white Plasti-dip and it looks cool. My son recently picked up some of the same in matte white, we may use on his 700ES.

no it is a General Motors color that we tinted. I think we buy Dupont but I am on the service side so I have no idea. It started out as a darker copper with a ton of flake in it and I wanted it way lighter. Whatever he did???????? I don't care. I like it!
