    The Brat: 1978 GS 1000

    Ok, I guess today is the day I officially start my project. I really like this bike, I traded a friend of mine a case of beer for it last spring. Last year all I did was source a tank & get it running. I put over 500 miles on it just commuting last summer.

    Here is a pic of what it looked like when I first got it running.

    So here is a pic of it at work one day. This is how it looked at the end of last season.

    Pretty much stock, but that's not the original tank. It wasn't a Skunk.

      And here it is last night. On the table, still being torn down.
      But I need to get a bunch of parts to the powder coater's.

        Sorry, I'm still trying to figure out how to post pics. I know there is a thread that explains it, but it was like reading Swahili.

          There are videos on YouTube of posting photos using PhotoBucket. That's the most common route.
