    1981 850GS G Gaskets

Hi, I have a 1981 GS850 G. I need a few bottom end gaskets, I ordered from a reputable online store but received gaskets that are close but a few holes out/not exact fit. I've heard they're are US models/EU models etc. How can I tell what market my bike was built for and know exactly which gaskets to order? Any suggestions on a good place to order gaskets? I need a new oil pan gasket, stator cover as well as right side engine cover gaskets.

    Thanks very much.

    Jim

OEM Suzuki gaskets are the best. Order from your favorite source. Parts Outlaw is the cheapest place I know but I'm not sure if they ship to Canada. I'm unaware of any difference in gaskets between US and other locations.

Not fitting cleanly is fairly common for non oem. Round here the bottom gasket is about 12 quid from Suzuki. Not worth haggling at that price.
That said I got a complete NE engine set last year. The bottom gasket fitted fine. The headgasket needed a few holes filed open.
Fingers crossed everything is still dry.
