    It's A-LIVE!

I rode it for the first time today. Gotta get a better M/C on the front, and obviously, it is still waiting to be re-wrapped, but gods does it handle better and, with the new carbs and a valve adjust, it runs BEAUTIFULLY.

Coolness! Glad to see it complete. The modern rolling stock sure changes the look- for the better.

Curious- did you make the fins on the head silver? Typically, original ESs I've seen didnt have that- I assumed that Suzuki didnt bother due to their being covered.

I love the sound, Trevor, though I wish the can were a bit more substantial. I toy with the notion of fitting a Supertrapp can to it when I have the header and mid-pipe Jet-Hotted.

I have to say, I enjoy it sooo much more without the fairing. It is surprising how much wind that fairing keeps away, but no rattles, a much smaller feeling bike, better vision around you, and yes, the hot rod look and feel is undeniable.

I have that same exhaust, and dig the look and sound. I liked it so much, I brough it over from the e
I had before the es. (The es had a V&H megaphone ) I did a couple of fairing-less rides this summer after I had it off for the mounting lug repair and yes the lack of rattles was nice. The rattling is something I want to address. I do enough cool weather riding that I wouldn't get rid of it.

Having an e and an es would be sweet.....

Now you have an idea of what my 1166 ed with 4:2:1 yoshi was like. You have to have a 1/4 fairing. I did a trip without and it was a definite Moho. I have a CF Ducati headlamp fairing I was gonna put on my GSxR 1100g

Without the 1/4 F my helmet was literally violent at the Tonne. With the 1/4F I had to look at the speedo to notice I was 1/3 tonne over Tonne.........Smooth...............

Going up 6% grade 1/2 throttle if matters
