New seat

My seat pan is rusted beyond repair so I'm looking for a new seat. I have a 1983 GS1100GK. Does anyone know if the seat from another model will fit? Thanks.

I've got one from an 83' GS850, I 'think' they are the same, some one else with more knowledge on the issue will chime in for sure. It has a tear in the seat cover, which could be taped if you didn't care, but is pretty solid. Yours for postage if you want it. I'll post pictures tomorrow.

Ok, I lied, you'll need several pieces of tape but the pan is solid as a rock, doubt it need a repaint and the foam feels great. Worst bit of rust is the one in the picture.

Yes, your '83 GS850G seat will fit his '83 GS1100GK perfectly. Same pan.
