I mounted some mini gauges that I picked up from DCC. Had to modify their bracket, but it worked out nice. I'm also routing the harness to make sure everything lines up properly. IMG_20170901_185907976.jpgComment

Much appreciated. Sorting through electrical now. Will need to lengthen and shorten certain things as necessary. It's like a jigsaw puzzle sometimes.Comment

I was wondering about shipping. Using a trucking co. Like Yellow Frieght Co. I had a GS1100 engine shipped from Az. to Mn. Shipper put it on a pallet, built a cover and shipped. I picked it at the nearest freight house which was about 45 min away. It was only $135. I wonder if Buchanon's would ship like this? It would be pretty easy to ship some rims this way. I need some wheels done in the future. There is a rim place in England that may be cheaper, as Buchanon's seem's to almost have a monopoly on spoked wheel service. I'll do some homeworkCurrent Rides: 82 GS1100E, 00 Triumph 955 Speed Triple:twistedevil:, 03 Kawasaki ZRX1200, 01 Honda GL1800, '15 Kawasaki 1000 Versys

Total weight of the shipment was 26 pounds. From Ohio to California was $80. Postage rates are ridiculous these days. Buchanan's has the market cornered, they also have the expertise, and unlikely to screw **** up. This isn't something that can be outsourced cheaply, unless it were done South of the border.I was wondering about shipping. Using a trucking co. Like Yellow Frieght Co. OK, so got the rims back and tires mounted. Feels good to get it off the jack. All electrical functional. Big purchases will be exhaust and paint.IMG_20171011_183813916.jpgComment
