    Another 1978 GS750E restoration started!

Finally started on my "other" 1978 GS750E. This one has a little over 14K on the clock but is missing a few parts. Started on it today by getting the instrument cluster wiring straightened out and working. Waiting on another instrument cluster to arrive and then I will take the three that I have and hopefully build one good one. The plan is to get it road-worthy and then see if I want to do another ground-up restoration or just sell it!
Anyway, here is what it looks like today.

Looks to be at a good starting point. Good luck.

20171005_121212.jpgGot the instrument clusters in and made one good one from three crappy ones. All the lights and gauges are working properly, even the gear indicator works! Now, on to something else......Got to get a new turn signal flasher and all the lights will be working.
