    Gs1000g, take two.

Not gonna be a huge build thread like the "mild cafe" was. Hate that name, was more of a street racer.. any ways today i started to.work on getting ricks old 1000g road worthy again. Shes been setting for a few years. She needs some tlc, but she runs good.

found this little crack, will a rotor from my old 80 1000g rear 17 fit?

so far, the bike still needs a front master cyl, rear brake pads, head gasket, and lights to be sorted. they work but the grounds could use some help.

I wondered where he got to. I guess I should check the other tires I have to see if the rest of the family is still around.

I have the 850G parts bike behind the shed if you cant find a rotor.

Just so you know, those wheels are off an '82 or newer G.

I did the same thing with my '80 850G'K'.

Thats what rick said when i got it, off an 82 GL i believe. Wasn't a fan og theb 16 rear at first but the set looks good on this bike. Gonna give them a little polish soon!

I will be following with the 16" rear wheel for my 850 and my son's 1000 for our trip next year.

We plan on having tires that will not even THINK of wearing out, they are not available in a 17" rear.

Rick supplied a kenda hard compound touring tire. Excited to see how it lasts with the almost 600 lbs bike and my 220lbs ass. I'll be doing about 50/50 highway and city with this one.

Hard compound = good burnouts. And patina is the living history of a bike's life and therefore cool..... to honor the bike's Riding Game past, I hope to see it there again at least once....

Suzy II was used to get many many many game tags, but when I moved her pics into her own file on the bucket, I see she's gone from all the Riding Game posts she was in.
