From barn find to barn build

    Hi everyone,

September will be about 10 months from when I first started wrenching on it.

    80 Percent there:

-Entirely rebuilt engine from crankshaft up
    - rebuilt carbs
    - Rebuilt brakes
    - cut/weld/paint frame
    - New seat
    - polished/coated tank
    - painted instrument cluster and installed LED's
    - taken apart cleand and lubed (where necessary) pretty much every piece of the bike

Looks like an old trail bike in the 80% photo. I'm kind of digging it.

Suzie_Finishedjpg.jpgShe's now got 4 hours on the new engine.. been having such a good time I haven't even stopped to get screws for the emblems! The Conti TKC 80s I'm running are pretty solid on pavement and even better on the dirt roads. Overall, It's been one hell of a rebuild.. many hours and time invested.. and many thanks to everyone for all this wealth of knowledge. Could not have done it without you. it's now time to enjoy her.. Reach out if you live in NJ and want to ride

You'll be wanting a front fender once you hit the dirt or ride in the rain. Nice looking project, have fun!

                    Thanks fellas!

I'll be putting the fender back on once I fab up some little stainless steel risers for it. The clearance right now is too tight with those knobbies
